What Hacker News says?
This sounds very similar to the types of tools Obama used for his campaign. It's nice to see such tools are now available to the everyman w/o having to invest in a team of operational specialists. http://www.williamhertling.com/2013/07/printable-obama-for-a...

HN discussionNot that new anymore (the first part of the series was published in 2011) but I can highly recommend William Hertling's Singularity Series, which starts with Avogadro Corp: http://www.williamhertling.com/books/

HN discussionKill Process by William Hertling: http://www.williamhertling.com/books/#kill-process It's near future and the technology isn't that far-out. Most of it is either very real already or at least very believable from today's point of view. So, maybe technically it doesn't count as sci-fi but it's a really great tech thriller anyway.
