What Hacker News says?

  1. If you're an employee, that's true - but as a founder of a small SaaS ( https://arcentry.com ) I genuinely work about 1-2 hours less and get more time walking with my dog through nature. I now have the luxury of concentrating on building the core product and writing articles for the blog and AI handles the things I'm less good at or passionate about, including marketing and content distribution, accounting, building…

  3. Check out Arcentry for Technical/DevOps style diagramming. Not really a generic library, but a nice new tool. https://arcentry.com

  5. Blatant self promotion: But if you'd like your Mermaid diagrams rendered in pretty isometric 3D, we've added Mermaid support to Arcentry lately: https://arcentry.com/blog/isometric-mermaid-diagrams-with-ar...

  7. I'd love to learn more about your thoughts on this. I've built Arcentry ( https://arcentry.com/ ) and we've tried to pivot into Industrial Monitoring and Control (see https://vimeo.com/supralayer ), but ultimately had to abandon the idea do to complexities in the data layer. Logistics might be a more suitable field though - would love to get your thoughts. You can reach me at wolfram@arcentry.com

  15. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, that product is being discontinued for business reasons: https://arcentry.com/discontinuation-letter/ Which is a shame because the product screenshots look pretty impressive! I'm not too sure what the ultimate experience with 3D/isometric drawings is like, but the diagrams sure look cool!

  25. the viewer is always read-only. Actually, once you've enabled a document for embedding you could just use the same request the viewer uses to load its data, e.g. https://arcentry.com/api/embed/get?id=b03e4004-ffdd-49b4-9ca...
