  3. It looks like a more complete breakdown is here. Crystal ranks just below Dart at 0.5413 (Dart was 0.5295). Luajit was 0.8056. I'm surprised Luajit does worse than Dart. Actually I am surprised Dart is beating out languages like C# too. http://benjdd.com/languages2

In fact, I still maintain a fairly popular Android development tool written in Python https://github.com/ashishb/adb-enhanced Over time, my love has hit a reality check. I took the chart from here https://benjdd.com/languages/ , it does a very specific test of loop iterations. If you look at concurrency, I am sure Go will do way better than Node JS for…

PyPy is really great in general speeding up Python[1] by magnitudes of order. Ma…

  11. Honestly I am really interested in trying to port the rust code to multiple languages like golang, zig, even niche languages like V-lang/Odin/nim etc. It would be interesting if we use this as a benchmark similar to https://benjdd.com/languages/ or https://benjdd.com/languages2/ I used gitingest on the repository that they provided and its around ~150k tokens Currently pasted it into the free gemini web and asked it…
