What Hacker News says?

  1. I've been looking for something I could host for this kind of thing - for LLM agents. Ended up on https://www.daytona.io/ as I couldn't find anything suitable to self host and realised it was a complex thing to manage. It seems Daytona is open source, including the server platform, but there is no documentation for the server element. Azure also seem to offer a service for this, it's a space that is growing rapidly.

  3. Happy to take this one, as I am one of the cofounder of Daytona. Daytona solves all the automation and provisioning of the dev environment, actually wrote an article here laying out exactly what we do: https://www.daytona.io/dotfiles/diy-guide-to-transform-any-m... Daytona currently supports only the dev container ( https://containers.dev/ ) "dev env infrastructure as code" standard, but are looking to support other…

  7. Very cool project. I'm looking forward to trying it. One note that's hindering me now is that it's very difficult to read the documentation, e.g. on this page: https://www.daytona.io/docs/installation/single-node/ There is very light gray font against a white background.
