  5. This is exactly the problem we have tried solving with the Frappe Framework [1] (Open Source, MIT). The core concept in Frappe is a DocType, which is configurable metadata. Using this you can quickly build small, special purpose apps for very niche targeted use cases for their own business. You can also configure rule based permissions and add simple scripts. We have used it to build hundreds of use cases for ERPNex…

  11. Looks nice, congratulations. Can you add knowledgebase section? I'm looking for an alternative to freshdesk/zendesk. I would recommend monetizing this via hosted service like https://frappe.io/ does with ERPNext project.

  17. Frappe Accounting is an electron based app exactly for this (GPL v3). We have pushed an alpha version and would love to find collaborators. Out of the box you can setup chart of accounts, make bills, payments, get basic accounting reports. https://github.com/frappe/accounting https://frappe.io/accounting Anyone willing to collaborate, please drop me a mail.

  19. Disclaimer: I am one of the developers that built this. Try Frappe Framework ( https://frappe.io ). We have received feedback that it is really good to quickly build internal projects or prototypes. Also ERPNext ( https://ERPNext.com ) is an open source erp that is feature rich and has a good UI. It can help any startup to manage their business without resorting to complicated excel sheets based management.

  29. As a frontend dev who also works in UX and graphics from time to time, I find it helpful to be able to do both, looking at SVGs as both a vector graphics format and a human-readable XML. IME the workflow depends more on whether any SVG is meant to be illustrative (like art) or quantitative (like charts) or interactive and animated/mutable (like a game). For something like this bell example ( https://svg-tutorial.com…
