Not linear but I recommend: for HTML read chapter 3 & 4 of HTML spec - https://html.spec.whatwg.org/ For CSS I recommend Wes Bos tutorials about flexbox and grid - https://wesbos.com/courses and this blog: https://ishadeed.com/articles/

  3. I agree I personally don't like to download offline tools for this sort of work. I haven't used it for anything serious - I just took an overall look at it after https://wesbos.com/ gave it a shout out and like you - decided it looked promising. Mainly just posted the link to share the knowledge :)

I can’t recommend Wes Bos videos [0] enough (I’m not affiliated). Something clicked for me watching his videos, made learning parts of JS easier. The JS courses are free. [1] https://wesbos.com/courses/

  15. Looking at the screenshots and the CSS in question, and presuming that before it just wasn’t specifying fonts at all, I prefer the “before” result if I’m the consumer, mostly because I like the fonts I set in my browser, and consider Inter and Incosolata a slight regression. Also most of the other styles I disagree with; capping the width and reducing the line-height for headings is about all I actually agree with i…

They went from a terrible font to a bad font. There are so many nice ones [e.g. have a look at https://wesbos.com/programming-fonts/ ], why not pick one of these? Inconsolata or Menlo would be a big improvement over what they chose now. Missed opportunity, IMHO.

  19. As one person living in one of those countries with greatly reduced purchase power, I really appreciate the way Wes Bos[1] has done it for his courses (I've bought a couple of them). He's got an episode on his podcast on how he implemented it [2]. It does sound like some work and I'm not saying you should discount or give away your work though. I'm personally a big fan of Frontend Masters: https://frontendmasters.com . I've found it to be one of the most comprehensive resources for web development out there, especially for front-end work. I think it's a great starting point for any prospective web dev, especially if you're keen on learning some crucial JS concepts. Once you dive a bit into the fundamentals, you can also check out Wes Bos's suite of courses…

Wes Bos ( https://wesbos.com ) has an upcoming advanced React video course on building a project that'll use Prisma. It's coming out around August and it's supposed to be epic. You can look at the code for final project here, maybe it'll be useful: https://github.com/wesbos/Advanced-React

I've been doing his React course and it's been very helpful so far. I have no reason to believe his other course aren't just as good: http://wesbos.com/courses/ NOTE: Some of his courses are paid. The plain JS course is free though. However, I paid for the React course and feel it was very worth it.
