  5. We use Caddy for serving our free dashboards and status pages on your own domain at https://checklyhq.com It was not super easy to set up. I think the whole config is 20 lines or so, but the docs, naming and functionality of how Caddy actually interfaces with LE was tricky to find out. Basically had to scrape together answers from various GitHub issues etc. I should write a blog post… Edit: now it runs fine btw

  7. I’m super biased in this, having spend considerable time programming against PhantomJs, Selenium and now Headless Chrome / Puppeteer for my startup https://checklyhq.com . This whole area of automating browser interactions is an extremely hard thing to get stable. In my experience, the recent Puppeteer library takes the cake but PhantomJs is the spiritual father here. I will not talk about Selenium for blood pressur…

  17. What do people thing of playwright vs cypress? I've been considering using playwright instead as it supports more browsers and I feel like it's easier to do production monitoring (by putting it in a aws lambda or using checkly) - Cypress: https://www.cypress.io - Playwright aws lambda: https://github.com/PauloGoncalvesBH/running-playwright-on-aw... - Checkly: https://www.checklyhq.com

  25. This hits home. Literraly signed up the first paying customer for my monitoring SaaS [0] two days ago. It was done through discussing issues over mail, a tiny bit of “hand holding” and treating the customer as a launching partner (which they totally are). That first Stripe notification is pretty awesome [0] https://checklyhq.com
