What Hacker News says?
> How true. To paraphrase Henry Ford, if HTML5 developers asked instead what casual users wanted, we would now have a faster Flash. Like this? https://www.leaningtech.com/pages/cheerpx.html

HN discussionHere's a talk by the team as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JUs4c99-mo And their website: https://www.leaningtech.com/pages/cheerpx.html This is honestly one of the coolest things I've seen, and given the amount of Flex/Spark software for enterprise out there, it could drastically change the legacy software landscape.

HN discussionThat already exists. In fact the Crunchy Data PostgreSQL playground loads a full Linux VM as part of how it works. Take a look at this project: https://webvm.io/ - explained here: https://leaningtech.com/webvm-server-less-x86-virtual-machin...

HN discussionIt will definitly be the new common, by killing Flash et all without comparable tooling, while at the same time offering WASM, it was only a matter of time until we had the revenge of plugins. Basically 10 years wasting time to come full circle. https://leaningtech.com/cheerpj https://leaningtech.com/cheerpx-for-flash/ https://opensilver.net/ All of the three major ones are now back, but it is ok, WASM is great!
