What Hacker News says?

  1. Weev's own words are probably the best way to expose him: http://weev.livejournal.com/409913.html The fact that he goes to such lengths to sound reasonable and yet fails adds a very dark cast to the whole affair and appropriating the "politically correct" language of what he considers the enemy is a big part of Gamergate too. He struggles to keep it up for long periods of time though, e.g. his reponse to a comment q…

His personal blog is worth a read for some context: http://weev.livejournal.com He has some posts which suggest the FBI was bugging his apartment and covertly following him around town. This was months prior to the release of the iPad accounts. So, yes, I suspect he is dealing with some mental issues.

People who know weev know he is a troll. A lot of what he says isn't meant to be taken seriously. A lot of what he says and does is meant more to make people stop and think than to be taken at face value. After her freshman year. As I sat next to her, watching her draw on her free Surface Pro and text on her free Lumia, I was thinking about the projects I was working on, the weeken…

  17. Good points. I also wanted to flag it but left it alone. I decided to look at the background of the writer and now understand. He just likes stirring the pot after I visited his site- http://weev.livejournal.com/ He describes himself as this > Andrew Auernheimer weev, notorious cultural diversity activist.
